ProfilePROFILE
Broad leaves overlap and curl in tightly toward the centre. The whole surface is felted over with a thick coat of silvery-white trichomes, so the leaf ground barely shows at all. The marginal teeth are long and white, recurving densely like the teeth of a comb. The thickness and whiteness of the coat stand out, making the whole plant look like a soft mass of felt. Specimen records of the distribution gather in Goiás (treated under estevesii in “Species Distributions”).
