Leaves radiate from the centre, with the new growth at the heart held tightly closed. The leaf surface is bright green, with white trichomes laid over it only thinly, in streaks. The marginal teeth are small and sparsely set at wide intervals. Recorded on this page under the name Dyckia maracasensis (Bahia, Brazil).
