ProfilePROFILE

Long leaves stack to either side, spreading flat like a fan in a distinctive form. The leaf surface is green with no obvious trichomes and a smooth sheen. The marginal teeth are small and widely spaced, their tips pale. At the base, older leaves take on a copper-brown tone where they layer beneath the green foliage.

A clone recorded as “WBC2006 from Bill Baker Garden”, derived from Baker's garden, is also kept in Japan.

Specimen records of the species gather in Goiás (see “Species Distributions”).
