The leaves open radially in a star, and new growth at the centre stays tightly furled in a small spiral. The leaf ground is green, with white trichomes spreading mainly along the margins, making the whiteness stand out. The marginal teeth are large and white, set densely in a wavy row and curving slightly inward. Bred by Sueb and registered in the Bromeliad Cultivar Register (BCR) as #15227.
