ProfilePROFILE
Grey-green leaves carry a dense coat of white trichomes, giving the whole rosette a silvery cast. The marginal teeth are white and long, curving slightly inward. New growth at the centre stays tightly furled, like a small spiral. Bred by Constantino Gastaldi of Dyckia Brazil and named for his friend Koka Wolff; the plant grown here is an offset of the original clone.
NotesNOTES
Dyckia ‘Koka Wolff’ is a named cultivar. We record it in 4 Instagram posts, from 2025-11-04 to 2026-10-24. Record tag(s): #tgn_dyc_kokawolff. It was bred by Constantino Gastaldi of Dyckia Brazil and named for his friend Koka Wolff. As Gastaldi wrote on his blog Dyckia Brazil, she travelled with him to Dyckia habitats and collected plants such as D. hebdingii together with him, and she was especially fond of hebdingii. She is now deceased. In Japan, an offset of the original clone passed from Gastaldi to Yocto Plants (Yuichi Machida), who has kept it ever since; in 2025, Wolff's daughter, who lives in Australia, visited Japan and was shown the plant. The name is not registered in the BCR.
