Broad leaves open radially, and the centre closes in a spiral. The leaves are densely coated in silvery-white trichomes and read almost uniformly silvery white. The margins are wavy, with large white teeth recurving like hooks in a dense row. Bred by Sueb and registered in the Bromeliad Cultivar Register (BCR) as #14991.
