Long, narrow leaves open radially; the inner leaves are dark purple-brown, and the outer leaves turn more silvery. The trichomes are thickest at the margins, showing like a white edging. The marginal teeth are large and white, recurving into hooks in a wavy row. A hybrid of goehringii and ‘Gray Ops’.
