Narrow, wide leaves open radially and curl in tightly toward the centre. The leaves colour a deep, glossy red, with trichomes remaining as a thin white layer around the margins. The marginal teeth are long and white, recurving strongly at intervals, in sharp contrast with the red leaves. Recorded as the hybrid from the cross goehringii TC × burle-marxii.
