Leaves interlace in many layers, the central bud rising white and tightly closed. The surface is densely covered in white trichomes and reads silvery white, with a little green still showing on the outside. The marginal teeth are white and long, recurving like hooks and overlapping in a complex fringe. Bred by Sueb, and registered in the Bromeliad Cultivar Register as BCR #15571.
