Many slender leaves open radially into a tight-centred rosette. The leaf surface is a deep wine colour with little trichome cover, so the dark red ground is the main colour. The marginal teeth are small and white, recurving like hooks in a very dense row that frills each margin. A named cultivar bred by Bill Baker.
