Long, narrow leaves open radially, the newest leaves at the centre staying tightly furled in a spiral. The leaf surface is dark green-brown with little trichome cover, so the ground colour shows through as it is. The marginal teeth are white and long, curving inward in a dense row that sharpens the outline of each leaf. Recorded here as a named cultivar.
